I have the honor of personally knowing the resilient and dynamic author, Connie. This book is a beautiful montage of Connie’s life experiences written in poetry about her family, including her little sister, Ruriko, who sadly passed away, her sisters and brothers, father and Grandmother, her two daughters, and also about love and life. It’s a beautiful reminder that life is a precious gift that should not be taken for granted and that, regardless of the storms we encounter in life, remain hopeful and keep going, because the sun will shine again.
