Honey-Can-Do HMP-02061 Large Elephant Pop-Up Kids' Laundry Hamper - Perfect for Nursery, Bedroom & Playroom Organization

the color is light orchid with baby pink ears and umm, whatever elephants have for toenails. they are shipped compacted in a plastic sealed bag so they are wrinkled when you pull them out and pop them up to full size standing. my husband says real elephants are wrinkled anyway so it doesn't look that odd, plus even the stock photo shows it with wrinkles. i suppose you could steam or iron them out if you were so inclined.anyway, the fabric is a taffetta type, thin, fairly strong, similar to a thin tent, and they do not have a bad odor. i bought two of them. we do not have a baby even if amazon now thinks we do from buying these. no, i got one for laundry and the other for storage of things in our purple bathroom that has limited cabinet space. he is holding well over a dozen rolls of tp, i lost count, a big box of green scrubbies, a box of scented tall garbage bags, my 15 year old purple con air hair dryer, some bottles of shampoo, bottles of dish soap and hand soaps, and a few other miscellaneous odds and ends and he still has room! he is next to our scroll basic toilet paper holder and our blue donuts purple wastepaper basket, between the toilet and the sink, making our art deco bathroom look whimsical.i would estimate he holds a large commercial machine's worth of clothing, a double at the laundrymat not a triple. he has a velcro closure that keeps his mouth closed if you don't overfill him. his head is domed and the dome stays up even if he's not fully packed, as is the case with the one in our bathroom.he won't be on parade but he will be very pretty in any room that is purple or pink or even green or yellow or blue, as long as it's pastel easter egg shades, like for a baby or a child usually. i would recommend this with 5 stars because he's adorable and everybody loves effalunts. :)This was a great idea. How do you get a three year old to pick up her dirty clothes? Get them a super cute hamper that has a funny cute lid. At first she wanted to store her baby dolls in it. And then she figured out how well she fit in it. It's perfect. It costs less than ugly Rubbermaid baskets and it much cuter. It doesn't look like a laundry hamper in her room. So far, she loves using it. It is not at all small. It is very well made and can collapse easily. What a bargain!!! I also got one for the older girl. She got a frog and it is also very cute. These are less expensive than the other brand and just as good. And holds a lot of clothes/towels. I want one now too.:)Recommended for anyone.This elephant hamper is super cute. 4 stars because it's so thin and really, I feel it's much too large for a kid's hamper. Plus when it's open, which it usually is, it just looks like a purple hamper b/c the head folds back and can't be seen. It can easily fit two good size loads of laundry. I'd rather have something smaller and more kid-sized. We have had it for a year now and we're reasonably gentle with it (just tossing clothes in), and it's held up fine. I think the cats have jumped in it a few times too (and possibly the 3 year old!) and haven't ripped it, so its durable enough, though definitely quite thin.This hamper was basically what I expected. It's a purple elephant. When I close it, the elephant face is smushed and the ears are creased in a funny way and will never lay correctly. However, it has held up well to toddler abuse (and some mommy abuse) and it's relatively well made (for a hamper). I expect to get years of use out of it. The colors were exactly as expected and it's tall enough for a week's worth of laundry for 2 kids.I would recommend this to a friend, especially if you have no intention of keeping it closed all the time and looking like a perfect elephant.I bought this hamper for my 7-year old daughter and she loves it. It's very big but light weight. She can easily manage to bring this hamper downstairs for me to do her laundry. I gave this hamper a 4 rating because one of the butterfly antenas came bent due to the stuffing spreading apart due to the way it was folded in the packaging. Otherwise I would have given it a 5 rating. So eventhough the butterfly came with a boo-boo it still serves its purpose and is a very nice addition to her fairy themed room.I will DEFINITELY be buying another hamper from this manufacturer (except with a different character) for another one of my children. IT IS AWESOME. BUY THIS, you won't regret it. The material is sturdy, the hamper is huge and fits a ton of clothes. Also, the Velcro flap that allows the face to show is functional and easy to open and close in a pinch, which is not the case with other brands out there. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CHILD'S HAMPER.I bought this for my little girl's nursery. The colors are grey and lavender, the clothes hamper is super adorable and taller then I had i imagined for the price! Its A very nice size, good quality, it looks as it does in the picture. I deffiantly recommend! Now I'm wanting to buy I different animal hamper for my oldest girl since this Is affordable and high qualityI love this collection of cute animal laundry baskets for kids. I ordered 2 frogs. Both have had the wires poke through the fabric. The wires have plastic covers that dull the sharp end. I am a pediatric emergency nurse so I think the wires poking out with my preschool aged kids is a safety issue. If they could fix that I would be willing to give the product a higher rating. I have been able to push the wires back in place but the fabric remains torn so I have to keep watching to make sure the wires stay in place. Other than that, cute option to have your kids throw their laundry in.Very cute and the kids loved it. However after a couple of weeks the metal wire popped out of the lid and cut one of my children. With that being said, Amazon was fantastic and fully refunded me over a month later :)This is an even better hamper than I expected based on what I saw online. The head is a very nice cover, that opens and closes smoothly by pulling the trunk. It's very sturdy and can easily support a full load of laundry when carried by the handles.The only downside is that his ears fold over more than in the picture (the top half of the ear folds down onto the bottom half) but this only affects appearance, not functionality, and it still looks very nice despite that.worth every penny it looks adorable in my babies room and is great quality.This ducky hamper just brightens up my entire room! Not only is it large enough to store two weeks-worth of laundry (no, I haven't tried that yet, but a week's worth of laundry only takes up half the body, so it's definitely spacious enough for two!), it can also be compressed for easy storage when not in use. Love it!I bought this for my granddaughter's bedroom. It is colorful, cute and she actually uses it. And it's a good size too.
