This product is amazing quality, pure and all natural. I love that I can pronounce all of the ingredients and know what they are. Plus, there isn't a grocery list of ingredients to read through! So kudos for that. Manuka honey is a product that I’ve been wanting to try for years, but it’s so expensive! If you’re not familiar with Manuka, it’s a honey from New Zealand by bees that pollinate the native manuka bush. It can be used to treat wound infections and other conditions like acne!This is not your average mask. It doesn’t dry or tighten up your skin; it doesn’t get hard at all. It’s actually really sticky due to the honey, of course. You have to be very careful when you have it on. I often make the mistake of touching my face or I accidently rub my hand by my face and then I have sticky stuff all over it! The only want to get it off is to wash it off.So, it’s not the neatest mask to use, but it sure is effective. I’ve been using it a LOT - especially as a spot treatment on under-the-skin nodules aka hormonal breakouts. It also is great on popped zits / pimples. I know you’re not supposed to pop them, but sometimes I just can’t help it - especially if I have somewhere to go. It's embarrassing at my age to go out with pimples on my face! No one cares or will understand that I have PCOS and hormonal issues.Luckily, this mask really helps to soothe my breakouts. It reduces inflammation, gets rid of redness, and helps to heal popped zits much faster! It’s really gentle and soothing, plus, it has a yummy smell (I’m assuming that I’m smelling the Manuka honey, but I wouldn’t know since I’ve never smelled it before). I often want to eat it! I use it almost on a daily basis. The jar is a bit small and will go rather fast if you use it as much as me, so you'll want to use it sparingly.I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest, unbiased review.
