The weave tightens up like crazy and gets harder to stretch it back into its original shape w every wash. Up until maybe the third or fourth wash, teal lint rubs off on everything. Theyve shrunk down to about half its original size. And they dry nothing. They spread water around a dish like a kid moving a pile of peas. I wish I could return these. One of the worst things Ive ever bought on Amazon. I only gave it two stars bc I really liked the color and I couldnt find this color anywhere else.I love kitchen towels, though, I often end up drying my hands with them instead of dishes. Anyway, I have kitchen towels in this brand (DII) that I purchased from a high-end kitchen equipment store, so decided to try these based off of the ones I have.These are very different and will shrink after washing. They are similar to the popular waffle/spa bath towel: stretchy and lightweight. I don't think that they dry dishes very well, but I like having them in the kitchen. I love the teal color also!I am disappointed. These towels look great but they don't absorb water so I can't dry dishes with them.So disappointed... I washed them when I received... They shrunk and they are not absorbentThese 18"x26" towels now measure about 10"x20". I washed them in cold water and dried on low heat before using them and was shocked at how much they shrunk. They are still absorbent and lightweight but they are going in the rag pile. So disappointing-a waste of money.These towels do not wipe up or dry anything. They are purely for looks which they do look nice if that’s what you want.They’re pretty towels but when I washed them, they shriveled up and don’t lay flat anymore.
