I bought this to replace my older, identical unit that recently broke. I was very happy to find the replacement but disappointed when it arrived and discovered the newer version feels much more flimsy. The poles each weigh significantly less than the older ones and have too much flex in them. The mechanism by which you tighten the legs when the rod is at the height you desire has changed, too. Not only is it difficult for me to snap it closed completely, but it doesn't hold up if you add too much weight to the rod - it slowly creeps downward. I'll be looking for something more sturdy - it's too bad - the original was my favorite, most versatile clothes rack for a long time.
