Active Manuka Honey - True Active Manuka honey will be signified by a UMF (Unique Manuka Factor) number to designate its level of activity. As an ointment, a level of ten or higher is best. Wound Honey has an Activity rating or UMF of 12+.

I got this to help heal a boil that popped up out of nowhere, unexpectedly, on my back. Yuck! I cleaned it twice a day, and covered it with a large bandaid with some of the manuka honey applied to it, and it healed in about a week! I was as generous as the bandage would allow me. Also used on a scraped fingernail cuticle that healed in just a couple of days. The tube still looks like it has never been touched, so it is a good value. I highly recommend!
