It's 3M Scotch red tape. It holds great. NOT magic tape, this is the glossy kind that is not removable easily. Free dispenser was an added bonus.This is the second time I bought this bundle. My first one was hijacked by me tape loving daughter. Now we both have our own. It works great, and it's such a better option than continuously having to buy the single plastic tape dispensers.Sticks great, strong and does the job! I'm not sure if it's the tape or my old dispenser but it doesn't seem to want to separate from the roll at times. Well none have broken.They are decent quality. So much so my wife and kids keep adopting mine leaving me to buy another....My wife is a teacher so I lost that first one sort of quickly.With 1 in college and 2 in high school well another quickly disappeared.So now I am on the third one for my home office and hoping this one stick around longer since I like it.I do get to visit with the other 2 at Christmas time apparentlyA great listing for 12 rolls of clear, shiny old-school style Scotch tape plus a nifty tape dispenser which is all one piece. The inner spool of the dispenser just lifts up & out on it's own arm, easy to load & unload, but it won't fall off & get lost!This is a great bundle offer, cheaper then even buying 12 rolls of the same Scotch tape all by themselves. This is great for any office, home school, craft room, etc...I appreciate the weighted dispenser, which was a major factor in deciding to purchase this product. The worst thing in the world (after under-cooked eggplant) is pulling some tape and having the dispenser come with it, scattering my antiques, spilling my coffee onto my keyboard, terrifying the cat, and causing a series of explosions. That is no longer a problem with my hefty Scotch dispenser. The volume of tape is a good value as well.It's been many years since I've had to buy a tape dispenser, and only purchased this one because it was more economical than buying the disposable dispensers per roll of tape. I'm pleased that I did and was surprised to see that the mechanism for loading tape has actually improved through the years. I'm very satisfied with the purchase.Good price for tape which is hard to purchase in stores plus getting a free dispenser that had the tape holder in place so you don't throw away by mistake.Satisfaites!
