If you are looking for thick body butter, this is stillThick, but was disappointed in their Body shop milk and honey.This time, thin like lotion.Great product.NoI got the first one as a gift many years ago and since then I haven't stopped using it!! I love how soft it leaves my skin and the scent. I have been using it for years now and even my husband has started using it! A bit pricey for the amount, though!I'm a long time admirer of Body Shop Body Butter but my old standby scents weren't really calling out to me when I went to purchase one - and then this caught my eye. I assumed it would smell like Oh banana body butter....I have waited 10 years for you to come back to The Body Shop.This smells like real pureed bananas (not the fake banana smell). I love the consistency and the effectiveness.What I wouldn't give for The Body Shop to implement this as a permanent body butter!!!edit: also, that review you might have seen about "how bad it tastes" isn't wrong haha. If you use this stuff and don't wash your hands and then somehow your hand gets anywhere close to your mouth, the taste is absolutely bitter and horrific. I've put this lotion on and went to brush my teeth, and I've got braces so I use my fingers to poke at things and clean and holy cow...the taste is bad. Just from not washing my hands. I mean like really bad. So PSA - after you use this stuff WASH YOUR HANDS lolI love anything fall inspired and couldn’t wait to get this as I’ve used many body shop butters in the past and loved them. First of all the scent is amazing and I love it however, the consistency is sticky and almost liquid - not like the thicker butters they sell (shea is incredible!!).The Body Shop never disappoints! Pumpkin is my favorite scent so this was a no brainer. I have recently moved to Chicago from my hometown of New Orleans and my skin did not appreciate the change of venue! I have never, ever had dry skin thanks to the 100% humidity of Acadiana. Chicago winters changed everything. My skin is unrecognizable to me as it is skin to papyrus. This body butter changed EVERYTHING! It is so hydrating and protective, I now have my Gulf Coast Cajun skin back!Did the job - and what a job it does. But the picture that's given is the new casing from Body Shop. I received the old casing, which was also from Body Shop, but an older version, hence the reason I've marked it down. Who knows how long it's been sitting in a warehouse.Although not my favourite smell in the body shop body butter range this cream is definitely the best one for moisturising dry and sensitive skin. I use it on my face with no problems at all. Would definitely recommend.This is a lovely pleasant cream , for not to dry skin it smells lovelyI have been a long user of this particular brand of Shea butter.My only criticism is that it is quite expensive.Thank youHas a nice minty smell in the container but (for me at least) on application it smells more like white chocolate.This isn't bad, it's just an odd shift.Like some of their other moisturisers, the scent isn't over powering but it remains detectable for a good amount of time after application
