It installed quick and easy. I've had it up for about a month, but just today it started acting oddly. Usually, you place your hand under it and you get a squirt of soap. All of a sudden, when you place you hand, it pretends to squirt (you hear it), but no soap appears. Do it again, and there is soap. I can't believe the batteries are spent after one month, but my plan is to switch them out and see if that's the problem. I will come back and update this review with my findings.It is easy for my little one because he likes to wash his hands and when he does, it is easy for him to reach and get soap rather than getting help.looks decent and held up first week. we shall seeMy first order didn't work and I'm positive it was during to the battery compartment mold. Two batteries were extremely tight and had no travel to actually work. My second order after the exchange didn't have this issue at all and worked fine. I saw issues with other issues that I didn't not see. One other con is that you have to hover your hand pretty close under the dispenser. I wish it was more sensitive, but its alright.Update: Almost a year now and still going strong.I thought to try this out, in an effort to curb the destruction of almost every bar of soap our three year old get's his hands on. He'd use the soap bar like playdoh, and spend quite a while running the hot water and destroying the bar of soap. Not any more!, and saving lots of $$ in soap!We've had this for over 2 months now, with continual usage from our family of eight. Batteries are holding up great, and I've had company mention what a neat idea to have one. Uses just the right amount of soap, and the children have fun (too much sometimes) using it.I mounted the dispenser over the sink, so as to catch any drips. The only problem I have had was out 5 year old has turned the unit off (he figured out where that switch is pretty quick), and that befuddled me a few times till I remembered it had a switch underneath. I'd prefer it without a switch, but it's still a great investment.Bought it to replace a leaky stainless commercial dispenser.Installed quickly and easily, and works great, with no leaks. I have 3 mechanics in my shop and we use a LOT of soap washing our hands dozens of times a day. This dispenser holds a good amount of soap. No more soap puddle on the floor.Bought this is in May after searching forever for a good dispenser. This seems to offer the best value for the capacity. It is now November and I haven’t changed the batteries YET. Dispenser is still in tip top shape, not sure why ppl are complaining it doesn’t last but maybe they are not nailing it in the wall correctly, causing it to fall.Also this thing has saved me soap costs within the past 6 months, seems to control the amount of soap I waste with regular pump dispensers.All in all it’s great and you can’t beat the $20 price for 20oz (600ml) capacity for automatic dispensing!!Our garage has gotten a little weird since the start of the pandemic. Everything comes in through the main garage door, gets somehow disinfected (bleach solution or UVC), then through the people-door into the house. Everything except people, of course. Why did it take me so long to realize that hanging something like this near the people-door to the garage would be helpful?We're using it with Germ-X hand sanitizer (ASIN B085V653L5). Works great and makes us feel much better about walking through the house when we'd rather have washed our hands first.I was a little confused during the initial installation regarding the power switch. It did not occur to me that having a power switch would be important, and at first I thought the unit wasn't working, but then read the instructions and now I see the point. It is on the bottom so you have to put batteries in, hang the unit on the wall, fill with whatever you're using, and find that switch, but it is easy enough to do by feel.This unit seems well thought-out. I might have liked a battery charge-level indicator but otherwise can't think of anything I would do differently.Product worked for two days then stopped working complaint registered but no response from seller till dateWorst product ever bought. It was on constantly without any use and all my soap got wasted as it had leakage in it and also sensor was so worst that when you keep your hand under it won’t work as you remove your hand it will keep working until and unless the soap you filled is emptied.I am using it for past one week, so far it is very good. Delivering correct quantity. No leakage. I am using hand sanitizer.Product is good but I have received non functional one ...This doesnt work for more than 2-3 days. Light keeps on blinking but no liquid is dispensed. TOTAL MONEY WASTE. Don't buy!
